Divine love

TRUEST LOVE

My yearning for true love

Has scaled the summits

It's now just me and God.

My nights are peaceful now,

No more restlessness,

Ethereal tranquility!

I 'm in communion,

With Love Absolute,

With The One Eternal.

Bereft of betrayals,

Devoid of all lies,

This...truest of all loves.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Love of The God Almighty is not only the truest of all loves, it is also divine, spiritually enlightening and total bliss.

You are my world!!

The beauty in life is to cherish love…

I see my world around you my love!

This world seems so meaningless without you,

I want to hold your hand and say I Love You…

Let me take you around the world today!

As I am engrossed in the messages your eyes can say…..

What joy can the world give in a materialistic thing?

True Love is the most beautiful experience, which makes a heart spring!

Love has no bounds of” if” and “what”,

Love can never ever be taught….

Love is a blissful feeling coming straight from the infinite power,

Love is the greatest gift bestowed by god to all his manpower!

If everything was mechanical on earth, with nothing to care for,

Life would be painful to the core...

Death would be awaited horribly more….

Let us first thank the divine,

As love is a universal vitalizing force for us,

To live healthy and fine!!!

Author's Notes/Comments:

Lord your divine love stands no parameters! I bow down and Thank You for the jewel of love on earth!

QUATRAIN - 3

The lover of God does not need invocations,
Nor does he depend on the shrill clarions,
God lives in him and he lives in God,
That is the truth of God's true revelations.

QUATRAIN - 2

Just before the sky turns from black into blue,
I try to seek any cleric's voice floating through,
Renting the still air with "God is the Greatest".
But he does it mechanically like a clock with its clue.

SOME MORE LINES ON DIVINE LOVE

O my beloved talk me not about those places which.
Emperors and kings used their wealth to mock us.
And our pure, selfless, unconditional love,
By building monuments, mausoleums and edifices.

Compare not my love for you with that of Shah Jahan*,
And match not my feelings' purity with the Taj Mahal*,
Relate me not about Hamlet* of Elsinore Castle*,
Or about Haroonur Rashid* and the Zobaida Canal*.

No, O my beloved! Let us not mix our chaste feelings,
With the rich ones' polluted and selfish adulation,
Of what use are the Hanging Gardens of Babylon*,
If they only remind us of worldly queens and kings?

Their love was tainted with lust O my beloved woman!
I would rather have you talk to me of Desdemona*,
Who gave her jealous Othello* everything she could offer,
Or allow me to tell you about Majnoo* and his Laila*.

We are purer than all the worldly endowed loving ones,
For our hearts beat to the rhythm of our simple names,
I cannot build for you a Taj Mahal or a Babylonian garden,
For I cannot mock true love by giving it worldly names.

Yes, I can do more than all the emperors that try to mock us,
And our true love by constructing marble castles,
You and I know the truth of pure and divine virtues,
And we should not compare the eternal with that which perishes.

So, O my sweet maiden, meet me at a simple garden,
Where spring flowers smile, where brooks sing of love,
Where the angels of God too sing along with us their hymns,
Glorifying divine love and defining the bliss of heaven.

Like Omar Khayyam once said in one of his quatrains:
"A book, good wine, and only you beside me",
Caring we, for each other, as songs most melodious,
Float from your lips in tune with my sublime adoration.

Let it be so even as the worldly and the wealthy,
Laugh and mock at us describing us as crazy,
Let's pay not heed to them and let us go to that sweet haunt,
Where nothing matters more than you and I only...
