A night of confessing to your lover…

It was worth being in the moment of truth.

And though I lost his trust for my mistakes,

Learning from them gives me reasons to fix us.

Good thing I didn’t eat anything,

Otherwise I would’ve ran to the bathroom

And make a scene for throwing up at school.

I went to the Care Center for life-changing advice.

Excuse me for shedding tears,

But I want to thank my counselor for the help.

My shoes are on and I’m gonna win this race.

The shitty problems within me aren’t gonna win.

And when I let myself be free in AP Biology,

I felt the spark of respect inside my mind

And I continued to build up that spark.

Hey, laughs and cheesecake go well together!

I’m proud to express myself so freely,

People are pretty sure I’m gonna cry

And will smile along with me in respect.

No, I’m not cocky, but this life is making a turn.

While I’m waiting to rebuild my relationship with him,

I’m gonna fix myself and give myself a high-five

For enduring for so long that I’m gonna be better.

Does anybody have some cheesecake left to celebrate?

Whoops, I made the devil wings too big,

But no one is judging my cat-eye make-up.

Least I’m gaining back my healthy weight.

Oh Lord, I’m gonna be dreaming of cheesecake.

I’ll cherish him with all my heart forever,

Whether or not we’re gonna be together again.

This life is gonna be a good one.

Best I order some cheesecake for the party!
