It was hard,
Tears would not stop coming,
Trying to get the breaths in,
Every few seconds so I wouldn't die,
I went through so many feelings,
It's been a long time since that,
I just wish we could still be together,
But you followed your heart,
Not feeling it will work this time when yall get together,
Feeling that it would be better to get together when yall are older,
Your decision,
I am not going to be the person with her you are,
Yet I still have some ify feelings about it all,
This will take a while for me to get over,
Happy to be friends for life,
It will never be the same,
But we will see,
