life is never-ending monotony
where extraordinary is quick
to become ordinary
and life just goes on the same
people go through the days
repeating the motions
only ever changing the date
but even that gets lost
days to remember
are few and far inbetween
but one cannot deny
those days will happen
but life just moves on
days are forgotten
memories soon cease
only life's monotony continues to exist
