I see the tears, and through your kiss

I felt the love

But all thoughts were in vein

You were not my dove



This shield around finally broken

Exposed to the core

But we'll keep tokin

Like always before



The earth clears the mind

To harvest the answers I need

Somehow I feel this whole thing

Was never meant to breed



But what I felt was nothing but pure

I just knew that this time, I was so sure

But like all cycles of life, doomed to repeat

I gladly accept my final defeat



What I've heard and what I've seen

All makes sense, not nearly serene

Funny how denial will strengthen our will

Only to capture our hearts, with that icy cold chill



Unbreakable we come in our own defensive ways

I just wanna die, to go away, to end these passing days

Therein lies only a tiny ray of sanity

To stand up and fight against the dreaded calamity



So sing now the hymn of utter destruction

The decay inside has only wrought corruption

I know where I stand, or rather lay too

Only thing left to say, is that I love you



I cant go on, not this way

I realize now that the threads are too frayed

They vibrate muddily on Lenneths wing

Her song of death, my soul to bring
