A fateful night that would change the course of time

An embrace that that was filled with lust

Words that meant everything

Twisted smile upon your face

I see the darkness in your eyes



You took my hand and walked with revere

Our eyes met, and smiled with deception

A touch of your lips burns my skin

But I feel nothing, the pain you've subdued me to

I've become numb, filled with emptiness



Handed you a fragile heart

Kissed you with love

Let you in to see this brittle soul

Dwelling deep within

Break the light, removed the sun

Take this body, do as you please



Need to find the strength to go on

Perserverence just a moment away

Seen the hell in your eyes

Grant me the wisdom to break your illusion



So above it all, beyond deceit

Not gonna waste another precious moment here

This labyrinth you've constructed

Will not hold me back

I'll find a way to break free from you



Forget my existence

Erase all these words here

You'll not find any resolve in my heart

Strike me down, draining my blood

Take my love and run into the distance
