I sit in the corner wondering where I went wrong

Where things took their worst turn, where I lost control of myself

I slowly fade into darkness, feel myself slip away

No hope for recovery, no hope for me at all

I didn't know where to turn, I was blinded by it all

Everything died in me, I lost what meant so much to me



Don't cry now, you're here

You lift my spirits

Revive my faith

Give me my halo, restored my strength

No more pain, you suck all the evil out of my blood

Come inside, I'll show you my world of pain



In a bright light, you step to me

Offer me your faith, inspire me

You warm my skin, embrace my sorrow

You are my angel

I turn to you in great faith

You bless my soul with serenity

Released me from these chains

It was fate that brought you here

Now you're here to stay



Don't ever leave, I need you now

Nothing tames me other than you

For so long I have dreamt of someone like you

You are the vision that came to me

For so long have I stared at the sky

My cries for help went unanswered

I thought I had lost my own fight

Until you came to me, until you lifted me

You are the answer to my prayers
