I was the girl
Who was overlooked,
Overshadowed
Whose emotions always overtook,
Overpowered
Everything sensible,
Rational,
To me, it's incomprehensible,
I didn't understand,
How could i know?
Believe,
Unless I am shown
That I matter,
Am loved.
As my world shattered,
Disintegrated,
Ihad to put on this mask,
This face,
All you had to do was ask,
Question,
" How are you overshadowed,
When a second i took,
And said, 'I love you.'"

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is what i felt like before the love of my life saved me from the self-destruction he had no idea he was saving me from. i owe him my life. for without his intervention at that moment., i dont know what would have happened to me. i love him with everything that i have, and even that is not enough.
