There are things I've always wanted to tell you
But I never thought there'd be a right time
Since surely you know I've always been yours and well,
You'll most likely never be mine

I've always choked on my words
Because my mouth doesn't speak the sentences in my head
I just needed you to know that ever since you've looked my way
I haven't felt alive, but I've felt a little less dead

Maybe someday you'll understand that,
All those sleepless nights were just for you
But it's okay if you never take the time to recall
Never would I expect you to
