Waking up in your arms surprised me the next morning.

I have never experienced these feelings before

I was warm and happy

And for the first time in my life I felt safe

I felt like I could let my guard down

For once in my long life.

For once in my existence not waking in constant fear alone.

You are in my arms like a beacon of light.

I need you here with me

You have got a power now,

You have got my love now.
