I just want someone to hold me

To tell me that life is really worth living

That there is something to keep living for.

I just want to be held

Have strong arms encircle me

Telling me it’s okay

That everything will turn out alright.

To have that strength

And feel their courage.

To feel that they care

That I am the one they want.

I want someone to cuddle with

To fight off the cold during the night

I need someone here.

I need someone to protect me

From myself.
