I Never Meant to Kill You

I never meant to kill you

My life just got in the way

The duties and obligations

Were never faraway

You knew my name

And that sealed your fate

For my enemies knew about you

And I was too late.

i liked this poem alot it shows how obligations can overwhelm people and get in the way of many things of importance leaving it to desastorous conciquences,
I also loved the short first line that worked its way into the mind and stayed through-out the poem
it's a wonderful poem

(yeah still alive got some more poems by the way lol not self-publicising honest =P)
