Sunshine Smile
I get up in the morning
and walk out of my door,
to view the morning sunrise,
each one different than before.
It's beauty overwhelms me,
an amazing sight to behold;
some are pale and serene,
others bright and bold.
It's You saying "Good Morning"
as the day begins brand new.
A peaceful reminder to Me
You saying, "I am here for you".
I carry that picture with me
in the back of my mind,
and pull it out as needed
in any troubles I may find.
It reminds me of Your promise
that I am not alone;
that You are there for me
and will safely guide me home.
So I always seem to smile
and feel at peace when I see
each amazing new sunrise,
and You smiling down on me.
Aren't sunrises amazing? If I always had my choice, I'd have a bedroom with the window facing east. I love sunrises. Another very nice piece of work, Buren. Thanks for the read.
