Tonight I wished upon a Star

It was just a twinkle

It was away so far.



There were some more brighter

Up in the sky

Why I chose this one

I dont know why.



I closed my eyes

And made my wish

And I felt a warm glow

Upon my face.



I opened my eyes

And to my surprise

My star was the Brightest

It lit up the sky.



Did this star get bright

To let me see

That it has always been there

Waiting on my Wish?



There are many stars

For all to see

So pick you one
