I Will Go, I Will Speak

Folder:
To God

You know home is my safety

But I will go if you ask

You know silence is my comfort

But I will speak if you ask

I will put the weight of the world on my back

Although I do wish there were things I didn't lack

I will put the weight of the world on my back

Although I do wish there were things I didn't have

I will carry your word on my back

Although it may my foundation crack

I will carry your word on my back

Although it may be preceived black

I will walk a thousand miles and back

Although my feet may bleed and crack

I will walk a thousand miles and back

Although my journey may break my back

I will share until the day words will lack

Although my tongue will never speak back

I will share until the day words will lack

Although my words their hearts may see black

I will put the weight of the world on my back

Although from birth I've been shrouded in black

I will put the weight of the world on my back

Although form birth you gave me all that I lack

You know home is my safety

But I will go if you ask

You know silence is my comfort

But I will speak if you ask

I will go until my feet cannot carry my back

Although your strength will get me there and back

I will speak until the breath in my body is lack

Although your breath will give my body all it does lack
