I remember the day you let me go

I can't forget that day, and you know

Did it make you feel good to leave me there?

Did it make you feel good to just not care?

Did it make you feel good when I shed a tear?

Does it still?



I remember the day you turned your cheek

I can't forget that day, and you know that I'm still weak

Did it make you feel big to see me cry?

Did it make you feel big to stab with that knife?

Did it make you feel big to take away the reason of life?

Does it still?



I remember the months of self-pity

I can't forget them, and you know what you did was shitty

Does it make you feel worthy?

Does it make you feel good?

Does it make you feel bad?

Does it still?



I hope you remember what you did

I hope you can't forget



Don't ever forget

'You get what you give'

It's just a matter of time

This poem really hit home with me, cause I just broke a guys heart after 7 months of a relationship, and this poem gives me a slight idea of how he would look at things and how he feels. So thanks for giving me the chance to be in someone elses shoes.
