Dread lock jungle

As I cross rudder by rudder

Over this mysterious sea of faith

Ahead of me a land of warm sand

My toes wiggle as I anticipate

Yet beyond fun in the sun

I see an unknown kingdom

Of inexplicable jungle

Should I pursue?

Or sit here and enjoy the view

The clear waters inviting blue

A calming enticing hue

Tells me it is alright

To let go of holding tight

To the familiar crew

So I pick up the pace

I hastily race to the future

I dive in take a swim

Ooohhh that feels so good

The grains under my feet

The salty warm water sweet

I look across to see it

Yes the bridge is still there

I take a walk into the dread lock

Of branches and vines

Their leaves and fruit intertwine

The protective green hands of shade

Fanning me cool sublime

Causing pains of past to fade

Dense peace

Potent supply

Intoxicating the dry

A river of joy and plenty

Flows from in here

I would have stayed at the bridge

Pinned to the ropes with fear

If the ebb of flow did not

Challenge me with a dare
