If I could show you another world

where words were the mountains

and love, sorrow, joy, envy, passion the rivers that watered our ocean,

would you journey there with me?

If we could walk hand in hand

along the stark ridges of prose,

or set our hearts adrift in the waves,

would you journey there with me?

If we could sleep in emerald forever fields,

bath our love in the silvered creek,

and sip from the joyful spring,

would you journey there with me?

If we had to wade through a tide of sorrow

to reach the pristine shore, the whispering plains,

and we could make our souls gallop,

would you journey there with me?

If we could climb our sonnet hills,

vanishing in the contented mists,

willing to fly when the wind called our names,

would you journey there with me?

If I could soar into your sky eyes

as you tumble down into mine.

If I could carry you to my pools of passion

would you journey there with me?

If I could baptise your body in the lake of laughter

and caress your smile with my heart

and float myself on your gentle words,

would you journey there with me?

If we could unknot our spirits there

and braid them, yours into mine, 

fuse ourselves under the alchemist's sun,

would you journey there with  me?

If we could rythmn our arms, our legs,

risk the glare of an opal moon

to lick each other's truest nectar,

 would you journey there with me?

If you could taste my supernova,

my starlight, and I yours,

and nibble the skin of our universe,

would you journey there with me?

If we could bleed our essence into eternity's waterfall

yet our veins still thrum with life,

 and I would name you soulmate,

 would you journey there with  me?
