BITTERSWEET MOMENT

Thoughts of you illuminate my spirit.

Never with a flickering flame,

but with Arching Bolts, striking

with a force that disturbs my equalibrium.

My mind races, as waves of passion flush my pale skin,

causing me to gaze upon visions

of impossible romantic possibilities.

Pathetic is the woman who anticipates the true rhythm

of love with a man she may never hold.

My imagined discourse of thoughts leave me suffering.

My lips begin to quiver, with the words I may never speak;

...... held for now, until then,......

"I have loved you more than you can ever know."

Terrific writing. You pulled the reader in and took us along with you as you wrote of your emotions. Wonderful work. Remember...if it was meant to be...it will be.

So many women I think experience this. It is sad to be trapped in love with one who can never really appreciate true love. This piece to is very good to me.

Highly beautiful poem replete with pathos and sweet anguish. It is not the case of a woman only but also the same situation may be of the man who becomes so pathetic and pitiable when he loves a woman he may never hold. The title of the poem "bittersweet moment" is very striking.

So beautiful and so sad...i felt like weeping with this one...kind of a love not returned back or forbidden love of some sort...if somebody caused in real life so much pain...i think that person was a real dummy...and maybe not worth of your love or tears my dear Val.Love the poem in all its sadness and romanticism...you are great! Love, your friend, Dorian
