To Etched What's Left In Stitch

I write my poems
to remember you
as time passes
my mind falters

I try to etched
what's left in stitch
but even though
I grope to protest

So may these poems
I keep in safe
linger a bit longer
while I lay myself...
to my endless sleep.

To Remember You

To remember you always will. To keep your poems in a safe place, should be in a book
for your children and grandchildren to treasure. And someday they will look on it with
great pride, and say look what mama did. She was a great storyteller and poetess.
