Look at me Mom,
I'm looking older just like you,
Some lines are etched,
In my forehead and my toes.

I am a widow too,
Just like what happened to you,
But I am getting by,
Without so much ado.

Am I happy, lonesome or blue?
Depends on what mood,
You catch me from your view.

But here's one thing,
I want you to know,
I'll never forget to greet you,
A very happy Mother's Day too.

To my loving mom, resting in heaven now,
I love you MOM...
