You were always there when I needed you,

Through trials and tribulations was just us two.

I loved you and you said you loved me;

For with a relationship like ours,

Words like this were the key.

We said we could never leave one another,

And that there would be no others.

I will never be ashamed of my past,

I just know now that only sometimes do good things last.
