The founding

The sun came up that morning, not the usual sun, this one lack of energy and that was consuming Earth. Great cities like New York, Paris or Hong Kong, little cities and towns, they were all empty, no people lived there anymore, the cold was devastating with everything, buildings were falling down, forests were freezing and lakes and rivers were frozen too. At the mountainside of the Lonely Mountain on the horizon you could see a young wolf, his wolf pack was gone, and he was alone. The wolf has been walking down the mountain for days searching for help, food or shelter but couldn’t find anything. The wolf thought: “Today it will be the same, I am alone and that will not change”. But the wolf wasn’t right; his luck was about to change. At the distance he saw a bear, for years their races have been fighting but it wasn’t the time for that, the wolf knew he couldn’t stand a chance against him alone anyway so he ran toward it asking for the bear’s company. The wolf yelled: “Bear, hold on, I’m here, wait”, but there was no response and the disappeared in the mist, all of a sudden the bear appeared in front of the wolf and asked: “What do you want? You wolves never talk to us? What are you looking for?” The wolf saw the bear was alone too and simply and answered: “I’m looking for company, just like you”. The bear agreed with the wolf and they started to talk to each other, many years of difference but today they were knowing each other and learning about their races, they decided this was the only way they could survive these times. The wolf then asked to the bear: “Why is this all happening? Why now?” The bear, which was wiser and had lived more than the wolf said: “It was because of the people, because of their fights between countries, because they didn’t care about us or about the earth, they were selfish and when they saw the damage they have done it was too late, we were condemned.” After days of walking into the plains down the mountain they reached a shelter, unusual to see there, it wasn’t manmade, it was done by other animals, they enter and found that it was full of other animals, all from different races, they found out they were all helping each other to survive the cold, all their differences were forgotten and they lived happily ever after just like at the beginnings of times.

Moral of the story: teamwork gets the job faster.
