After the End

I am the raven's feather that floats to the ground

I am the tree branches swaying in the winter breeze

I am the moon on a crisp October night

I am the light shining in your window

Illuminating the wilting rose

Resting in your window sill

I am the dandelions failing to grant your wishes

I am the soil, the water, and the wind,

but I am not that body

Lying in the ground.

:) I think this is a nice

:) I think this is a nice take on a common conecpt, I relate to it a bit more probably because of the raven and october, I love the fall and it brings to mind the most joyful feelings ever felt, so when I think of someone I love being gone and telling me they are the joy in life I do not picture the classic 'sun, breeze' poem read at most funerals, I picture fall trees, crips air, and the gingle of halloween candy under an october moon

:) thanks for sharing

Much Love
