like the moon misses the sun.

i miss you like the night sky misses your gentle warmth.

how the stars reach to graze the darkness...

the way i long for the moon in hopes you do to.

cascade my thoughts to the street lamposts,

my hand reaching, longing for yours yo hold.

the way a child misses family...

how a creature misses nature,

how a bird misses spring.
