Every tear I cry

How many times I weep
How I try to pray
Lord please let me sleep
You see my walk Lord
My desire just to learn
The lessons that I go through
The self respect I earn
Lord you see my day
And the journey I now take
How many times I ask
Please don’t let me wake
Lord you are so willing
To spend your day with me
Please let the hearts of others
See what you see.
You see I am failing
From walking the way they think
In fact if you ask a few
My attitude just really stinks
Lord I'm new at asking you
For help in such a way
Lord please help me be better
