As Iopened my laptop

Messages I did start,



Some I simply call a freind

Others by my heart.



Seeing messages flowing

Of things about a day,



Some with little problems

Some just want to pray.



Then I had a little thought

May sound sort of odd,



But I had a sudden wish

To instant message God.



To tell Him of my troubles

Tell Him of my day,



To receive an answer quickly

Not to stop and pray.



But then I stopped to ponder

Stopped with all my care,



I stopped to instant message God

I bent my knee in prayer.
