I heard the Holy Spirit

Whisper in my ear,



I listened to Him closely

To see what I would hear.



I heard the praise to Jesus

For all He has done,



I heard the praise to Jesus

For battles He has won.



My hand began to lift

Quite to my surprise,



My spirit started lifting

My praises began to rise.



I heard the Holy Spirit

Whisper in my ear,



I'm so thankful Jesus

I listened to what I would hear.
