Life offers many lessons
however blame falls easy
when we feel victimized
Therefore when told that
we are the teacher and student
we accuse the soothe sayer
of madness
Then someone reminds us
God is a jealous God
'thou shant put anyone
before self and God'
Usually when we do
the relationship unravels
revealing all flaws
we get caught up in the
wrong reflection of 'ME'
when we should be more
attentive to the reflection
of God - being made in his Image
Alas sometimes we must
be drudged through
the house of mirrors
before we realize
neither was a true reflection cast
of self - yet we still bleed
from stepping on the broken glass
