if you be offended, then it is you to blame

if you are elated, then it is you to blame

if you are confused, then it is you to blame

if it is judgment you pass, then it is you

convicted

if it is truth you seek, then it is in you

the pain

if it is wisdom you long for, then it is in you

the sustenance

i think the tao te ching just got an 82nd chapter -
this poem should be added - its power thru its simplicity makes it timeless - every word counts - any addition would subtract from it - nice piece -
