How Black Am I?

How White Should I Be?

My Beloved

How I yearn for an everlasting peace

A piece of your love

As I rattle my fist

In a tantrum of wants

Only to find out - there is

No Black & White

Only many shades of Grey

In the School of Art

I was taught that Black & White

Are Extremes of Values

And not pre-ordained colors

How Black Am I?

How White Should I Be?

In the School of Life

Contra to this, Contra to that

Contra to all belief

Contra to all I've been told

Man Contra-Dicks himself

Then pawns it off as

Self-love

How Black I Am

How Black I Am

How Black I Am

How Black Am I ?

Deep runneth the voice of revolution

Creating it's own evolutions

Deep runneth the fear that

If all my Blackness be known for it's

True self - Genocide would team

Up with Armageddon and began

A war in the Seventh Dimension

How Black Am I?

How White Should I Be?

Deep runneth the cry for freedom

By any means necessary - thought I

It locked away in solitude

Only to bare witness the escape

Through the key of creativity

How Black I Am ?

How Black Am I?

How White Should I Be?

How White I Am

How White I Am

How White I Am

How White Am I ?

Many of my fore mothers raped

By the Cookie Monster armed with his

Obsession for chocolate

-And all it's bitter sweetness

-All it's love and compassion

-All it's cream-coffee nectar of thighs

How Black Am I?

How White Should I Be?

Many of my fore fathers raped

Castrated from their homes - so adorned

In their hearts - chased into the realm

Of lost souls, latched onto anything

That resembled light

There laid the Queen of Whiteness

Dejected by her King - the Cookie Monster

How White I Am ?

How Black Am I?

How White Should I Be?

Alas - the nickel-plated

Two headed, catch twenty-two

Is vanquished for it's

Artificial colors, Artificial flavors

Non-Preserving infectious Dis-Ease

Cultivating and Preserving

In all truth - Self Hate

How White I Am?

How Black I Can Be?

Though Blackness was here first

And will be here last

And out of the Darkness came the Light

How can you say - the Rain Drop

To be greater than the Ocean

Or the Rain Cloud from whence

It falls forth

For in all truth, they are

One - and Blackness is still

The home of all colors

As Black & White are still

Extremes of Values

How Black Am I?

How White Should I Be?

For if you were to look into

Blackness - you will see

Greens, Blues, Reds

Hues, Light prisms, Magnum Opus

Yes, a work of art

No, you will not see Black

No, you will not see White

For they will be one

No longer Extremes

For they will be a loving shade of

Greens, Blues, Reds

Hues, Light prisms, Magnum Opus

Yes, a work of art

Protected by a shield of Grays

Causing tunnel vision in

The eyes of Hatred

How White I Am Not

How Black Not Am I

Once again, pure truism. These words definitely moves a brother like a King on a chest board. Keep spittin' the profound.

One love,
The Prodigal one,

Prodigal Prince
