Feeling myself approaching a breaking point,
The imminent Unknown...could it be the summit?
Travelling at full speed
Out of the darkness or maybe the light-
It's unclear still...fatigue has set in
But I push on. Climb-
Suddenly the mountain explodes
into a breathtaking display of fireworks
Negativity bursting,
The ultimate release
The colors of the rainbow with brilliant vibrance
Anger, irritation, worry, envy, sorrow, loneliness, pain
Fade against the night sky
Witnessing the spectacular show
I feel the energy leave me
Left to find myself
Without any of the burdens
