She said she wanted change

Even saw beauty in pains

In dirty window panes

Folding letters into oragami paper cranes

Thinking everyone can see the water stains

She lost her love, only the heart remains



She said she wanted kisses

Frames too big for the pictures

In the coldest winters with jackets with broke zippers

All she wanted was her glass slippers



Love keeps letting me go

You keep making appearances in the show

Dancing on my heart broken soul

Digging into the broken heart below



On the dirty concrete tears spat

Do you want your water back

My heart cracked and all of that

Praying hands grouped in the sadness I'm at

Unfolded love letters flat



White pages and the letters black

Now I see you left a home you ain't coming back
