Candles burning

The shrine it set

All my life I've been afraid

And finally this fear

Has caught up with me



No tearful goodbyes

No final words said

Just walking

Looking over your shoulder

No one is there

Walk by the old tower

The clock strikes ten

Then all of a sudden

Boom

You're dead



Forgive me

I'm sorry

No time to say goodbye

Sorry I'm always afraid

Sorry for forgetting

The date that was set

But now I hear the clock ticking
