Sleep just wouldnt come to her
she laid there
the pain inside her head
Thoughts of him came to her
Out in the rain
The lightning crashing down
He had begged her to stay
He had pleaded with her
He promised her he still loved her
But she just couldnt
She couldnt live with the lies
with the hurt
She ran
Ran fast as she could
She heard the sound
Oh god that sound
He wouldnt do it
Not him
He had to much to live for
Then why
Why cant she get his face out of her mind
The tears that fell down his cheek
CRASH!!
The sound woke her
As she sat up
There he was
Wrapping her arms around him
Thats when she seen it
Thats when she felt it
The pain
The blood
Oh god all the blood
Looking up in to his eyes
As she laid there
Why she asked
Why?
Because we belong together
I love you.... was the last thing she heard him say
this poem is really deep, but is true about a lot of relations. i have been in a few bad relationships myself where the guy tried to control me and had abused me. also my jerk of a half-brother also abused me physically a few times and left marks and also tried to control my life. anyways, keep the faith and hope that your friend or you, whoever this poem is really about, is ok and that things will get better in all good time.
