Time for this lil bird to fly

to stretch these wings as far as they will go



to feel the wind beneath my wings

to let go of the past

and embrace the future



but with out you there is none

oh i will go on

but with a heavy heart i soar



freedom not worth enjoying

sun shining but not feeling its warmth



on i must go

finding my place amongst the many

learning  to live on my own

to soar  as free and as far as i can go



so as i open my wings and begin to fly

i look back smiling

knowing  all is going to be ok
