well here's the honest truth

you're the one i never wanna lose

you're the paper to my glue

the laces to my shoes

and i could never lie

when i look in your awestruck eyes

no matter what i do

i'm in love with you



so here's the story thus far

how we fell into each others arms

it started on a bright, sunny day

as you sat and watched me sing

i locked onto your beauty

i knew someday lovers we would be

you shyly stepped forward

and said a couple words

i never knew quite what to say

it wasn't long til our first kiss

and i asked you to make a wish

you hoped forever would be like this



well, now that i'm ninety-nine

you're still the greatest love of mine

you're the stitches to my coat

the patches to my holes

and i could never lie

i want to be with you till the end of time

no matter what i do

i'm in love with you
