Lawrencetown Beach

Folder:
Childhood

We danced so gracefully, with winds so gay.
Over an ocean, that shone in the sun.
We could be young, and play in the sand.
Where castles so grand, grew with each passing hour.
They had moats and towers, deep dark and soaring.
As far as our imaginations, dared let them.
We danced and splashed, in green and blue waves.
Marveled at our sandy toes, and cried when it was time to go.
The days always seemed so short, and the drive home so long.
Hot chocolate and Pez, soothed everything easily then.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I still dream of those days on the beach.

I hope everyone has warm memories like these.
