Euthanasia might be bothersome;
Nonetheless, pet owners prefer some!
Abraded, bled, then left for dead--
When should grating suffering end?
We took a soul then poured it in our glass;
We would not care how much we amass--
For the world is just an anodyne for us
And it only serves to numb the carcass!
