Jost Van Dyke

At first it was lonely

And then it was fun

Barrelling down

Waiting for the sun

Thinking of my dad

The love he has for me

How my brother changed

How I never really forgave

So difficult

To root it out

It even hurts

To look at all

So many worries

For housing and for food

Bills and debts

Somone repeats

Fears you never left behind

Never shed your skin

Or even your sin

Never made a name

And other living things

Never ran away to Jost Van Dyke

I remember waking up on the net of the catamaran

Staring straight into the teal blue waters of Great Harbour
