Set Them on Your Window Sill

There is velvet under where no eye may see

Some vivacious picture painted for me

Some finger gild in gold

Some passing love ago

Some of the warmest arms were of people I could hardly know

A dance like a feather

Some moon glistened gleaning

In the darkness gleaming

A dance just like forever

Just like ever

A sea for more than gulls

With no more salt than a tear

With no more fault than a fear

The winds are felt like shining souls

No time to be dying souls

Gather ye blossoms

Of more than daffodils

They may grace your broken chasms

But they will never fill

Still set them on the window sill

Some finger gild in gold

Some passing love for arms of the forth

I ride to lady June

One cold dazing afternoon
