I've never had an abortion

but I support the right of women

to control their own bodies

in the first and parts of 2nd trimester



There is a very wide spectrum

of belief ranging from abolitionists

of all abortion and all contraception

to those who believe that a woman

can have an abortion at 9 months.



A majority of women believe this is a decision between

God and the pregnant woman

If I personally saw

a 6 month pregnant woman

bound for an abortion clinic

I would

ask God.. should I try to talk her

out of it? will the baby in being

born to a mother who doesn't

want him.. be beaten throughout

his childhood? What a terrible thing to be born to parents

who don't want a child.



The 1/4 to 1/2 of American priests who

according to the National

Catholic Reporter are gay should not tell

women what to do with their

bodies.



My friend Sandhya said

'no men should be allowed

to vote on issues of prochoice

prolife'



I'm happy that the serial killers

on the unelected US Supreme

Court have banned partial

birth abortions .. doctors like

Canadian fishermen were smashing

the skulls of viable young beings



It is time for the Catholic Church

to preach as much about stopping

the

bombing of Iraqi babies,

the serial murder of prisoners

in US state and CIA and GTMO jails,

and the genoicide of animals

.. When this happens they

can truly call themselves 'prolife'



I have a friend who had 3

abortions. She went to a psychic

who had never met her.. who

said "I see a soul has knocked on

your door 3 times. The 4th time

you will let him in." She burst into

tears, as she realized she had

not prevented but only delayed

a soul's entry onto the human stage.



Right now the Pope is wearing

ermine.. the skin of an animal

whose tongue freezes solidly

to a greased trap.. and he is not

yet following Jesus' vegetarian

example
