This World Is Not My Home

Looking for a place to call my own, but this world is not my home,

For Christ has prepared a place for me where I’ll live for Eternity.

It will be a place to behold as even the streets are paved with gold.

And in Eternity I’ve been told, things in Heaven will never grow old.

I can’t be wasting precious time, wondering what is and isn’t mine,

Even things that I say are mine, when I leave shall be left behind.

Old things of earth will be no more, but Heaven shall forever endure.

Behold Jesus Christ is coming soon and He shall make all things new.

Hurting today from pain and fear, Christ will wipe away every tear,

And sorrow and pain will be no more, only blissful joy forevermore.

No more anger, sin or hate, all those will remain outside the gate,

The only ones found inside are members of Jesus’ blood bought bride.

No mind can truly conceive what Christ has prepared for you and me.

There will be no day or night, for Jesus Himself shall be The Light.

On the golden streets we shall trod to the Eternal City built by God.

For out of the sky from God will come the Heavenly City of Jerusalem.

This place above is called Paradise, and is prepared by Jesus Christ.

Jesus is now knocking at the door, to take you to Heaven forevermore.

As the thief entered Paradise; you may enter by the blood of Christ,

Unlike the thief who was deceived, he from his heart truly believed.

In God’s House are many rooms and Jesus can prepare a place for you,

Like the thief, accept Christ as Lord, and you can reign forevermore.

Amazing job! Some people live, believing that if they don't have the best or the most, then life isn't worth living. It isn't what we have that makes us a rich, it's what we possess inside and the actions that we do for others that makes us prosperous. God bless!
