3 years waisted



gave you everything i had,

made you my king



you made your promises

and i believed them all



day by day you tore my heart to pieces,

kept me locked away in your cage



i want to be set free

want to be free of you

free of pain

free of everything you put me through



want to hate you

but it was you who helped me realize

you who tought me to seperate thd truth from the lies

so i thank you,

thank you for showing me that i really can live without you

that i dont need you to move on with my life



so as i turn from you i smile

because i know everythings going to be ok

i know i can finally live again

i no longer have to hold my breath for you
