The Sweetest Heart

HE SWEETEST HEART

It is hers, who can doubt it?

With her voice's pure gracing,

and touch so fair, enticing,

Romance's heart, budding, delicate,

     we cannot be more closely entwined;

     two hearts that are completely combined.

Of this love, what will become?

I cannot forget her face!

I find her every place;

complete love, though just begun.

     It was so simple to confess;

     my soul aches for her kiss.

My very clothing on my skin

like her embrace, warm, tender, pure,

protective, inspiring, none truer --

her love dwells deep within.

     Ahh, no matter where I go

     her boundless love I know!

Love does not love without desires.

But my longings are not lust.

I burn for her love's trust,

To taste her luscious fires,

     mine and hers like hand-in-glove

     two lovers, yes, but one love.
