I will meet you somewhere, again, apart, afresh,
on that new day, and begin a new unfettered future.
The past and all that’s passed we’ll release, as we rush
into the Friendship we remember, which held us together.
We will enter Friendship’s Garden, now growing again,
through a secret, brand-new, ne’er-opened gate.
Hearts were never far apart: Love watched between.
Nor was Time long: Love was the reason we could wait.
Bring ALL your shed- and unshed-tears, and exchange
with me any sadness, for now-Eternal Moments of Joy.
Bring ALL of your un-pressed kisses, and I’ll arrange
for them to meet mine, longing for yours, night and day!
Bring the best and sweetest of your dreams, and share;
hearts were never far apart: Love watched there.
