   I can envision me in another world

Trying to escape from you

   Your tight grip around my creativity

Makes me stay here even longer



   Each day I try to impress you with words

I feel as if I fail if i let you down

   I try my hardest

Showing you what I can do

   A little encouragement would help along the way



   Each passing second I sit in awe

At your constructive criticism

   Each moment I yearn to hear your advice

You are my teacher almost like a friend

   Who will help me when I need it

Who will be there to make sure

   I WILL amount to something
