You brought me to my knees

When you told the truth behind the lies

I felt like someone ripped my heart out

An left me there to die



We Had forever before us

Nothing was in our way

But youlet her change that

She took forever away



Now I stand before you

Watching your eyes look away

Feeling like a Stranger to me

And I don't know what to say



There is no closure for us

"Hate" consumed my heart

Pain engulfs my body

And now the tears will start



I pray to forgetyour face

To forget how you held me everynight

I pray I can pick up these pieces

I want these tears to stop at night



When I close my eyes

I don't want to see your face

When I hold my pillow tight

I don't want to feel your embrace



I want to be whole again

I want to be me with out you

To forget the baggage you left me

I want to begin anew



I put all your belongings

tucked away in a box

But it taunts me in my closet

I wished this thing had locks



I still look through our stuff

The cards, bear, and snowmen

Remembering your Proposal

You were so nervous you could've fallen



Christmas will be sad now

You ruined it for me

Hopefully next year will better

Casue you're only a memory.
