There are nights that I have dreams of you

And I wake and I wonder if you have them too

They are dreams of us and what we could be

If we were together and "we" were "we"



There are days when I think of the time we have had

As short as it's been it makes me sad

I want there to be more time for us

Time to share and let "us" be "us"



Although this time is a short time away

I think of it with each passing day

Yet the day is near and we will be

Together again just "you" and "me"
