She told me not to fall,

But I was already

halfway to the ground,

falling heavy, 

Falling to the ground

She told me not to fall,

but I was goin down,

falling hard like the rain,

Pitter pattering

it's broken melody

Against the ground

She told me not to fall,

but her eyes said something else,

I was goin down,

falling heavy 

Down through the ground

She told me not to fall,

told me not to fall,

Not to fall,

but, I was gone already,

falling heavy like a cannonball,

Smash,

Down,

Down,

To the ground.
